Poem: A "Empanada"
A “Empanada”
I like Empanadas
People like Empanadas
So we like Empanadas
I like its smell on its shell
The heat is perfect on its meat.
Its shape like a smile
Carefully I put it into my mouth
First bite, I feel like flying
Second bite, I reach nirvana
Third bite, I reach heaven.
When I'm finished, I feel like dying.
I like Empanadas
People like Empanadas

Poetry
A Toast to our Native Land

1) What's poetry?
-Alliteration: The first sound of a word is repeated.
In this poem I was able to Identify only one word that uses alliteration in the sencond and third line that was:
Mid and million.
-Speaker: The person or thing that is telling the story to the readers.
Inthis case, the speaker was the author.
-Imagery: In this peom the only sence that was used were taste because in the last line said "Drink to Our Native Land! God Bless the State!"
-Rhyme: When the last part of a word is repeated.
The were a lot of rhymes:
1)Huge and alert, irascible yet strong,
We make our fitful way 'mid right and wrong.
2) One time we strike the shackles from the slaves,
And then, quiescent, we are ruled by knaves.
3) Often we rudely break restraining bars,
And confidently reach out toward the stars.
4) Yet under all there flows a hidden stream
Sprung from the Rock of Freedom, the great dream
5)Of Washington and Franklin, men of old
Who knew that freedom is not bought with gold.
6)This is the Land we love, our heritage,
Strange mixture of the gross and fine, yet sage
Almost the whole poem hrymed.

"Roberto Clemente"
Can athetes be herous?
Athetes were consider as model of successful but i dont think that athetes should be consider as herous because they never help the community or the people.

His dream was that he wwanted to build "sports city".
2. Becoming a baseball hall of Fame member shows that Roberto was an outstanding player. Find evidence from the selection that shows him as an outstanding human being.
3. Look over the details about Roberto's disappearance. Use the info to make a time line of the events.
- He born in the island of Puerto Rico.
- He joined to the runners team to get a sronger body.
- Sign for a contract to get money to their family.
- Help people in his country.
- Hall of fame, one honor that he was given.

Merter Luther king Jr. used nonviolence to get rights for black people.
2. Union: Group of farmers.
My grandfather was in the Union.
3. Motto: group of goals.
Our motto phase was " no se puede!"
4. Fasts: period without no food.
I used to make fasts stricks at home.

Television is the most used media in the world. There are a lot of shows such as news shows, sports shows comedy shows, educational show, cartoons shows, talent shows, entertainment shows and even animal shows. But, only few inpire yong adult people. One of the famous television shows in U.S. is "American Idol" or "American Dance Crew", this show can inpire yong people to sing or dance because it's giving yong people oppurtunities to rich their dreams.
"American Idol" is a show where people are given opportunities to become famous. People that want to sing is inpire by this show because help them to rich their dream and get a job doing what they like to do.
"American Dance Crew" is also a show that give a opportunity to become famous. Dancers are inspire by this show because they can become famous and by dancing in hip-hop music videos or even giving lessons for those who want to dance.
These shows are few examples of what yong people is inspire on. Also it depends where the show is from because sometimes the shows want to help you but, also it might confuse you.
